Lucky K9s Happy Tails has been specializing in behavior problems and obedience for companion animals for over 5 years. Evelyne works with dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages using the positive and negative reinforcement approach to basic, advanced and off leash obedience training.

Why does your dog need training? Communication is essential in any relationship. Training offers more than the ability to have your dog sit on command or correct bad behaviors; it establishes a bond between you and your dog, develops the respect that is needed for a healthy relationship, and increases your dog's confidence and understanding of what is expected of him.

At Lucky K9s Happy Tails the health, safety,
well being of the dog and client satisfaction shall
remain our highest priority.
We offer various training programs depending
on the needs of you and your dog. It is through
positive experiences given (love and praise)
when the dog does what is asked, that he learns
about good behavior.

Our extensive experience in evaluating the nature
of your pet allows us to apply the proper training
methods in order to achieve success, whether
your dog exhibits signs of aggression or insecurity
or simply needs to understand what is expected of him.
Although Evelyne is not opposed to giving treats for reward, she does not feel a dog should be bribed to listen to you. Like any relationship in your life, respect is important.
Your dog must not only love you, but respect you as well.

Evelyne does not believe in working aggressively with an animal. She believes in firm discipline, just as you would discipline your child, in order to prepare that child to become a caring, respectful adult.
You would not hit your child to make your point nor should  you strike your dog. However, you will expect your child to live by certain rules...... and the same goes for your dog.
We know your relationship with your dog is important to you. It's our goal to see that you have a long and happy life together.
